As often as we have the opportunity, let us do good to all people. Especially to those who belong to the family of believers. (Galatians 6: 10) Now is the time to do good. Now is when people are locked inside their houses for quarantine (like under a home arrest), without job and food. Now is when fear grips the will, and uncertainty brings depression. Let’s rise up and continue to do what we are called to do – love God and love people.
Even though the world has crashed into chaos and uncertainty, it doesn’t mean that we have to follow the world. Christ has redeemed us from sin and we no longer live by the standards of the world. We live by the values of the Kingdom of God. We must understand the plans of God’s Kingdom in the current situation and watch for the day when the Kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ will come into this world.
“May Your Kingdom come”, – we pray every day. And then we rise up from our knees and do the works of the Kingdom, eagerly expecting the coming of Christ. We go into the chaos of this world. We bring faith, hope, and love which all come from Jesus only. Each one of us is an authorized representative of God’s Kingdom, and each one of us will keep functioning in this world with our God-given authority until the day appointed by the Lord.
And in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8: 37–39)
The world has changed, but Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. (Hebrews 13: 8) His Great Commission didn’t change: “Go and make disciples of all nations”. His promise didn’t change: “I am with you always, to the very end of the age”. (Matthew 28: 19) There is still time left to do good.
The authorities of India have closed the entire country (1.3 billion people) under the world’s largest quarantine. Many poor families were left without income and food. We have received permission from the authorities and gathered a team of our believers to buy and make food aid packages for the poor families.
We were able to make 84 food aid packages for the families left without work and food.
All the people lined up in a long queue according to the requirements of quarantine rules. Each person had to stay inside the white circle clearly marked on the ground.
The people were crying as they were receiving food aid packages.
We were able to help 84 families but we still have people coming to us and asking for help. Support us today and we will be able to help every family. The cost of one package is $10.
