Even though the world filled with fear and anxiety, it doesn’t mean that we have to follow the world. Christ has redeemed us from sin and we no longer live by the standards of the world. We live by the values of the Kingdom of God. We must understand the plans of God’s Kingdom in the current situation and watch for the day when the Kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ will come into this world.
“May Your Kingdom come”, – we pray every day. And then we rise up from our knees and do the works of the Kingdom, eagerly expecting the coming of Christ. We go into the darkness of this world. We bring faith, hope, and love which all come from Jesus only. Each one of us is an authorized representative of God’s Kingdom, and each one of us will keep functioning in this world with our God-given authority until the day appointed by the Lord.
We overcome all the sufferings and gain a complete victory because Christ loves us. I am sure that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor evil spirits can separate us from God. No powers can do it neither in the present nor in the future. No creation in the height or in the depth can separate us from God who loves us. God showed us His love through our Lord Jesus Christ. (Romans 8: 37–39)
The world has changed, but Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. (Hebrews 13: 8) His Great Commission didn’t change: “Go and make disciples of all nations”. His promise didn’t change: “I am with you always, to the very end of the age”. (Matthew 28: 19) Therefore, as we still have opportunity, let us keep doing good.
