Dear Friends and Partners,
Recently when I was reading Paul’s Letter to the Romans, I stumbled upon possibly one of the best definitions of what “partnership” means. The Word of God encourages us to keep on doing good with “patient continuance”. Our “patient continuance in doing good” will bring positive results in our lives, such as “glory, honor, and immortality”. Partnership or, in other words, “patient continuance in doing good” brings blessings, because it’s based on a fact that God “will reward each one according to his works” (Romans 2: 6).
We need to understand that in the long run doing good to others is needed for us because the Word of God teaches us that “whatever good anyone does, he will receive the same from the Lord” (Ephesians 6: 8). Partnership works in such a way that by doing good to people we receive reward from the Lord. And the amount of our reward is in direct proportion to the level of our commitment to doing good. As it is written we “will receive the same from the Lord”.
In other words, those who do good occasionally, will be blessed occasionally. And those who do good continuously, will be blessed continuously. God has created the structure of partnership for our good. By being continuously involved in doing good, we can be blessed continuously.
So the question is, how persistent are we? Do we keep helping those we promised? Does our life show “patient continuance in doing good” even in the midst of unfavorable circumstances? We thank God that the team of partners of our ministry is comprised of people like this. Your “patient continuance in doing good” enables us to keep moving forward and rescue more and more children in India from human trafficking, abuse and poverty.
Let’s keep being “persistent in doing good”. Let our light so shine before men, that they may see our good works and glorify our Father in heaven (Matthew 5: 16). If you didn’t become a partner of our ministry yet, we invite you to join us today.
